This Comp Cams 34-601-5 BBF 287TH7 Mutha’ Thumpr Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft fits the 429-460 Big Block Ford from 1968-1995. Comp designed this cam for high performance street/strip use, and it features strong torque and a rough idle. A 9.0:1 or higher compression ratio, intake, gears, headers and a 2600+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
