Description
Manley designed these NexTek 221425-16 Dual Valve Springs for drag racing in addition to high-performance street applications. They are ideal for Super Stock, Super Gas, Competition Eliminator, Pro Stock, alcohol as well as mountain motor applications.
Manufactured from “super clean” Hi-Tensile Chrome Silicon steel wire, they are also shot-peened to MIL spec for maximum fatigue life. Manley’s proprietary multi-step heat treating minimizes load loss, while the tip thickness is designed to eliminate overload breakage. Computer-aided modeling and design minimizes valve bounce as well as valve gear separation, and tightly controlled open end flatness reduces valve stem side loading.
Optimized “Select Size Fitting” between outer and inner springs also maximize harmonic dampening and reduces heat generated during operation.
