This Comp Cams CL01-421-8 BBC Xtreme Energy Hydraulic Roller Camshaft & Lifter Kit fits the 454-502 Gen VI Big Block Chevy from 1996-1999. Comp designed this cam for street/strip applications, and it features strong low-end torque and a rough idle. A 10.0:1 or higher compression ratio, good intake, headers and a 2900+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
