ACC Performance designed this Boss Hog 25043 Street Bandit Torque Converter for Ford C4 transmissions with the 5.875 in. large bellhousing. This lightweight hand-built 9.6” converter has a stall speed of 2800-3200 RPM, and can also handle up to 650 horsepower!
Boss Hog recommends a “Street Bandit” series torque converter if you have upgraded intake, headers, exhaust, cam, or gearing.
All Boss Hog torque converters are welded at the fins, not furnace-brazed, eliminating erosion over time. They include industrial-strength Torrington-type bearings that handle more torque than light-duty needle bearings. Aircraft aluminum washers instead of inferior fiber washers ensure all power transfers directly to the ground.

Notes: For use with 164 tooth flywheel. Actual stall speed will vary depending on your vehicle’s setup. Use Type F transmission fluid for best results also.
