Universal 3 & 4-speed Automatic Ratchet Shifter. The Hurst® V-Matic®3 shifter is a front exit cable ratchet shifter designed for most popular 3 & 4-speed automatic transmissions and features a park and reverse lockout trigger actuating system, that has a smooth and flawless ratcheting action that only allows you to shift one gear at a time. No more missed shifts. The universal base design allows for floor mount and can be trimmed to custom fit the contour of the floor and includes an accordion-style shift boot and lighted gear indicator. The forward exit cable is designed for a quick and easy installation for smooth accurate shifts and the reverse lockout trigger function meets NHRA/IHRA safety requirements. The shifter also includes a neutral safety switch, backup light switch, and brushed aluminum Hurst T-handle. Notes: AOD transmissions will require B&M install kit 40496. GM 4L60E through 4L80E transmissions will require Hurst install kit 1175498. Overall Dimensions – 12.62L x 5.6W x 11.65H

Fits AMC, Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth Torqueflite A727 (36RH/37RH), A518 (46RH/46RE), A618 (47RH/47RE/48RE), A904 (30RH), A999 (32RH), A500 (40RH/42RH/40RE/42RE/44RE) transmissions 1966-up. Ford C4, C5, C6 and AOD transmissions and GM TH200, TH250, TH350, TH375, TH400 700R4, 200-4R, 4L60E, 4L65E, 4L80E transmissions. AOD will require B&M install kit 40496. 4L60E through 4L80E will require Hurst intall kit 1175498.
