Description
ACC Performance designed this Boss Hog 26013 Street Bandit Torque Converter for 1966-1991 Ford C6 transmissions with the 5.875 in. large bellhousing on Ford FE engines. This hand-built 9.6” converter has a stall speed of 2800-3200 RPM, and can also handle up to 650 horsepower! It has been leak and pressure tested as well as digitally balanced.
All Boss Hog torque converters are welded at the fins, not furnace brazed, eliminating erosion over time. They include industrial-strength Torrington-type bearings that handle more torque than light-duty needle bearings. Aircraft aluminum washers instead of inferior fiber washers ensure all power transfers directly to the ground.

Notes: For use with 164 tooth flywheel. Actual stall speed will vary depending on your vehicle’s setup. Use Type F transmission fluid for best results also.
An “Outlaw” series torque converter is highly recommended if you have a Trans Brake, Nitrous Oxide, Turbocharger or Supercharger.
