Description
ACC Performance designed this Boss Hog 54087 Street Bandit Torque Converter for 1967-Up Chrysler 727 transmissions on External Balanced engines. This hand-built 9.6” converter has a stall speed of 4200-5000 RPM, and can also handle up to 650 horsepower!
All Boss Hog torque converters are welded at the fins, not furnace-brazed, eliminating erosion over time. They include industrial-strength Torrington-type bearings that handle more torque than light-duty needle bearings. Aircraft aluminum washers instead of inferior fiber washers ensure all power transfers directly to the ground.
