Description
AED designed this 5045 Power Valve to regulate fuel flow during idle, light driving and racing applications on Holley carbureted engines. The open and closing rate is based on engine vacuum during part-throttle through Wide Open Throttle situations.
Under low vacuum (WOT), this valve opens to supply additional fuel to the carburetor metering system, eliminating bogging and hesitation. At part-throttle and high vacuum, the valve closes, improving drivability, air-fuel ratio and fuel mileage.
Selecting the correct power valve for your application is critical to dial in your carburetor to its peak potential on the street and dragstrip!
