This Comp Cams 11-218-4 BBC 282S Magnum Mechanical Flat Tappet Camshaft fits 396-454 cubic inch Mark IV Big Block Chevy engines from 1967-1996. Comp designed this cam for street/strip use, and it features strong mid-range torque & horsepower and has a rough idle. A 9.0:1+ compression ratio, lower gears and a 2400+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
