This Comp Cams 51-316-4 Pontiac 296AH-8 Drag Race Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft fits the 265-455 Pontiac engines from 1955-1981. Comp designed this cam for street/strip use, and it features strong low-end torque and a rough idle. A 10.0:1 or higher compression ratio, 4.10 or lower gear ratio, and a 3400+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
