Description
This Edelbrock 7516 SBC RPM Air-Gap Vortec intake manifold fits 262-400 V8 engines with 1996 and later Vortec (L31) cast iron or Edelbrock E-Tec aluminum heads. Ideal for ultimate street performance in the 1500 to 6500 rpm range. It incorporates technology from Edelbrock’s potent Victor series and features an open-air space that separates the runners from hot engine oil. This results in a cooler, denser charge for more power.
This manifold includes nitrous bosses, rear water outlets as well as 2 distributor clamp locations. It accepts all alternator and A/C brackets from 1976 and later for the street. Also, the angled heater outlet boss ensures a proper fit over the valve cover. It is not for use with 1987 and later cast iron heads.
