Howards Cams designed these 91218 Direct Lube Extreme Duty Mechanical Flat Tappet Lifters for Ford 221-302, 351W, 351C, 351M and 429-460 engines. A precision EDM laser-burned .021” hole in the center of the lifter face provides constant oil supply to the cam lobe. This allows for higher valve spring pressures, more aggressive profiles and reduced lobe wear.
