Description
This MSD 6564 Digital 6M-3L Marine is the standard of the Ignition Control industry! This unit is a capacitive discharge ignition that multi-sparks from idle to 3,000 rpm providing a clean idle and quick throttle response. Above 3,000 rpm, discharge sparks run clean through 12,000 rpm!
Featuring three rotary dials and an LED display that sets the cylinder select, start retard as well as the rev limiter. The LED display can also be set to a live tach mode on V8’s as well as display the battery voltage with just a turn of a knob. Also, this has a fully potted housing that keeps up with demanding marine conditions.
This ignition is compatible on 4-, 6-, as well as 8-cylinder engines with 12-volt, negative ground electrical systems. It will accept trigger inputs from breaker points, amplifiers, as well as magnetic pickups.
Wiring harness, vibration mounts as well as all components needed for installation are included.
