Description
MSD designed this 8253 Street/Strip Blaster HVC-2 Ignition Coil as an upgrade from a stock coil to compliment the performance of your MSD 6 ignition! It features efficient windings, and a tough, rigid Rynite housing with an isolated tower as well as brass primary terminals.
This coil also utilizes an iron U-Core design with a segmented bobbin for improved voltage distribution. The bobbin is molded from a special Dupont Rynite material and wound specifically to produce the most current possible with incredible voltage as well as lightening quick rise time. In addition, the efficient E-core windings produce high amounts of current without sacrificing the voltage output.
When used with an MSD 6 Series Ignition, the Blaster HVC-2 produces 300 milliamps of current as well as maximum voltage output of 44,000 volts!
