Powermaster designed this 19508 XS Torque Starter for Ford Flathead engines using an Aluminum Flywheel or French Block (12V only) that have up to an 18.0:1 compression ratio! The 4.4:1 gear reduction ratio on this chrome Denso-style mini starter supplies reliable cranking power, while the InfiCLOCK system provides 360-degrees of rotation to clear most oil pans and headers.
This starter is an excellent choice where heat soak, limited space or hot starting is a concern, while the billet aluminum adapter block helps the XS Torque line to be the lightest 200 ft/lb starter available!
